Woods and Towns began dating in 2020 after years of friendship. They made their relationship Instagram official in September of that year, with Woods writing, “I found you, then I found me.”
The pair have previously spoken about how their friendship became the foundation of their romance. In a 2021 interview, Woods said she appreciated dating someone who already knew her through different stages of life.
