The Crete lineup features several shades of nail polish in neutral, go-with-everything hues of grey, black, and white. As Yachty showed off on Instagram, the polishes are packed in a clicker-style, slim, and stylish black tube, a departure from the traditional nail polish bottle.
In the gallery post announcing the line, you can also see Lil Yachty’s Crete manicure with some subtle nail art. “I’d like to introduce my new nail paint line @crete__co,” he captioned the pics. “FIRST COLOR DROP MAY 21. 4 ALL GENDERS. FOR YOU, NOT THEM!”

3. South Africa: AKA returns to the spotlight after the death of fiancée Nelli Tembe
Rapper AKA is back in the public space after the tragic death of his fiancée Anele “Nelli” Tembe last month. Nelli died aged 22 after apparently falling from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town last month.
The star recently posted a snapshot of himself captioned with a Bible verse to usher in his return and signal to fans he was dealing with the loss. The star is set to perform at Huawei’s Joburg Day later this month alongside Black Motion, MiCasa, Goodluck, and DJ Zinhle.
4. Ghana: 350,000 COVID-19 second doses now in Accra
After weeks of apprehension over the fate of Ghana’s COVID-19 vaccination program, the exercise looks set to resume shortly, after 350,000 doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccines landed in Accra on Friday morning. It arrived around 5 am, May 7, aboard a Turkish Airline flight to kick-start the second phase of the nationwide vaccination.
The 350,000 doses of vaccines are an addition to the 600,000 doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine received on February 24, this year. Already, Ghana has inoculated about 850,000.
5. Arsenal crashes out of Europa league
Arsenal’s hopes of salvaging their season in the Europa League are over after Unai Emery returned to Emirates Stadium to guide Villarreal to a 0-0 draw sending them to the finals. The Gunners were 2-1 down from the first leg of their semi-final in Spain last week, and they did not do enough to save themselves on a damaging night.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hit the post twice, but Arsenal never really got going and went out with a whimper after two disappointing displays over the two legs. Their Europa League exit means that, in all probability, Arsenal will not play European football next season for the first time since 1995-1996.
