This leaf is also helpful in clearing skin disorders that may occur due to inflammation or excess oil produced by the skin. Though Neem leaf has a bitter taste, some locals drink it for the prevention and treatment of malaria.

Among its many beneficial uses, it has been used by traditional beauty gurus for haircare as it helps kill dandruff-causing bacteria and also improves the quality, texture and shine of hair.
