There are artists who move between music and fashion, and then there is A$AP Rocky, whose career has increasingly made the distinction between the two feel unnecessary. On September 30, 2026, that idea became the setting for AWGE Spring/Summer 2027, presented inside Paris’ Accor Arena as part of the final date of Rocky’s “Don’t Be Dumb” World Tour. The show began at 6 p.m. for reserved-seat ticket holders, hours before Rocky would return to the stage for the tour’s closing performance. There were no separate fashion show tickets. The runway was part of the concert experience, making the arena simultaneously a fashion venue and a music venue. In the front row, Rihanna watched in an AWGE leather jacket layered over a rhinestone-lined button-up and stirrup leggings, with sons Riot and RZA beside her. That collision of worlds continued throughout the night. Tyler, The Creator joined Rocky during the concert for “Who Dat Boy” and “Potato Salad,” while a helicopter descended from the arena ceiling during Rocky’s set. Pharrell was among the audience, and A$AP Twelvyy opened the show. By the time the final performance ended, Paris Fashion Week had gained one of its most theatrical moments, while the “Don’t Be Dumb” tour had found a fittingly extravagant conclusion. The decision to place the AWGE runway inside the tour’s final night was not simply a matter of convenience. It was a statement about how Rocky sees the relationship between his creative disciplines.
AWGE Spring/Summer 2027 Makes Its Message Wearable
For Spring/Summer 2027, AWGE takes its name from Anti War Global Economics, and that phrase provides the foundation for the collection. Military references are everywhere, but they arrive through a deliberately distorted fashion vocabulary: layered tactical vests, trench coats, flight caps, oil-dipped headwear, gold-embroidered military marching band jackets and a deep red gas-mask-inspired long coat. The collection pushes those references further into the silhouettes themselves. Chemical-protective imagery appears in glossy leather capes and a bomber jacket-inspired asymmetrical skirt, while bold graphic veils evoke medieval chainmail. Wraparound plaid skirts and triple-stacked boxers extending above waistbands pull the collection back toward AWGE’s streetwear instincts. Louboutins and army boots occupy the same arena floor, reinforcing the collection’s willingness to place luxury, utility and provocation in direct conversation. Longtime stylist Matthew Henson, who collaborated with Rocky on the collection, helps establish that balance. The most theatrical pieces are positioned alongside clothes that can exist beyond the runway, from AWGE ammo boxes and bespoke printed denim sets to shiny leather belt bags and padded tactical vests incorporated into poplin shirts. The collection moves between protest imagery and party dressing without treating either vocabulary as secondary. The French press described the proposition as “military cuts with a pacifist message,” a tension that gives AWGE Spring/Summer 2027 much of its identity. The collection borrows the visual authority of military clothing while redirecting its symbolism toward an anti-war message, turning familiar uniforms and protective equipment into fashion objects.
Rocky Expands AWGE Through Its Collaborations
Photo: AWGE The collection also continues Rocky’s strategy of using collaborations to expand AWGE beyond the runway. New Straycat sneakers appeared alongside a navy Puma Suede set, both scheduled for release later this year. The partnership with Puma has already developed across multiple seasons, and the latest pieces extend that relationship into the Spring/Summer 2027 presentation. Rocky also used the show to introduce new eyewear as Ray-Ban’s Creative Director. Lightweight aviator frames with reflective lenses appeared alongside colored frames fitted with elastic bands, marking the third season of product development in one of his most significant commercial roles outside music. Christian Louboutin supplied the women’s footwear, giving the collection a three-part commercial ecosystem spanning sneakers, eyewear and heels. Those partnerships matter because AWGE is still a relatively young fashion operation. Its debut, “American Sabotage,” arrived in Paris in June 2024, followed by “Obligatory Fashion” for Spring/Summer 2026 in 2025. With each collection, the brand has expanded its collaborators, infrastructure, retail ambitions and creative team while maintaining the anti-establishment sensibility that distinguishes AWGE from a conventional celebrity fashion label. Anti War Global Economics represents the clearest development of that idea so far. The name is not simply a seasonal slogan; it gives the collection a framework through which military codes, streetwear, luxury accessories and theatrical styling can coexist.
A Runway Built Into the Concert
Photo: AWGE The timing also gives the collection another layer of significance. Rocky released “Don’t Be Dumb” in January 2026, his first studio album in eight years, and the record debuted at No. 1 in seven countries. The world tour that followed became his largest headline run to date, eventually arriving at the Accor Arena for its final night. The Paris venue already carries history for Rocky’s creative evolution. He previewed album material there during a Paris Fashion Week show in June 2024 and announced the album’s release date. Returning to the same city for both the beginning and conclusion of this chapter creates a clear symmetry: Paris became the place where Rocky introduced the album and the place where he closed the tour supporting it. For AWGE, however, the more consequential decision may have been the audience. This was not a conventional fashion show built primarily around editors, buyers and industry insiders. The people watching the collection were concertgoers who had purchased tickets to see Rocky perform. They encountered AWGE not as a separate fashion proposition but as part of the larger world surrounding the artist. That changes the scale of a runway presentation. Instead of asking a fashion audience to enter Rocky’s universe, AWGE brought the runway directly to the audience that already inhabits it through his music. The arena became the runway, the runway became part of the concert, and the concert became the final chapter of the “Don’t Be Dumb” tour.
For AWGE Spring/Summer 2027, that format is as important as the clothes themselves. Rocky is continuing to build a fashion label that does not behave like a traditional fashion label, and the Accor Arena provided the clearest expression yet of that philosophy. The show did not sit alongside the tour. It was the tour, and, for one night in Paris, both belonged to AWGE.
