Mavins Record diva Tiwa Savage has released stunning visuals for her latest single ‘Tiwa’s Vibe’. The single which was released in May was produced by Spellz and its video directed by Clarence Peters. The video which is already number 9 trending on YouTube is a colourful one with well choreographed dance moves and fashionable moments we love.
The video was an all-female cast video which also features TV girl Idia Aisien and beauty influencer Lola OJ.
According to Tiwa,
“I did this for us because we are beautiful, strong, delicate. We can achieve greatness.”
The video finds Tiwa in a form-fitting Burberry catsuit, in a flimsy chiffon number from Re Lagos and in a sexy lingerie from Trouvai Lingerie among other stylish looks.
We have to mention that Veronica Odeka who was the stylist on set did an amazing job with the pieces she picked. According to her, “…We wanted the vibe to be all Tiwa and what she embodies: confidence, sexiness and proudly African.”
In selecting the looks for the video, Nigerian designers were used alongside foreign brands to create a sense of inclusiveness for Tiwa’s diverse fan-base. Veronica went on to explain the rationale behind the juxtaposition of some of the looks. She added, “The tee shirts were paired with Ankara bottoms and waist beads of course as a nod to Fela’s Queens and that in a nutshell is Tiwa’s Vibe.”
