One thing about the weather at this time of the year is that it’s cool almost all over the world––whether it’s winter or the harmattan season. Last week, it was inspiring to see how beauty influencers across the globe have embraced the season by simply using warm tones in their makeup routine to keep the cold out.
South African celebrity makeup artist Lungile Thabethe was our flower girl of the week as she adorned her hair with flowers! We especially love how the multi-colored assortment of different flowers gave her otherwise flawless face a touch of ultra-feminine framing.
US-based model Sabey left her curls wild and untamed as she posed while Alslayy, also a model, was a sight in double ponytails. One of the most delightful parts of her look is the warm tones and red contour that immediately draws you in.
It doesn’t get more fire than this! Uganda’s Bettinah Tianah alongside beauty influencer, Teaira Walker won us over with their blood-red matte lipstick. With how flawless their lips were, it’s safe to say that they’ve nailed the perfect lip routine. We are taking notes!
Now, behold the beauty that is Eritrean-born, Melbourne-based Mona Khalifa’s subtle glam look––but let’s start with her off floral resort-inspired look and matching scarf. How modest, how chic! And then to her face, made up with warm, nude tones. You’ve gotta agree, Mona is in a class of her own! If you love her look, then you would definitely love how model Dera Grey and beauty educator Fifi Tesfatsion nailed their dark brown lippies.
