Last Week’s Best Dressed Stars Were Beguiling In Personalized Numbers

T

hings got pretty heated up in New York City last week. Thanks to events like the Tribeca Film Festival, we stood as solid witnesses to the sartorial weight celebrities pulled on and off the carpet. The stars made a case for high fashion renderings, and with a surfeit of desirable outfits as evidence, they pleaded guilty to ultra-slay

And then, there’s the Renaissance World Tour that sees Beyoncé still on a fashion roulette. Bey is in that Rich Aunty era, where you perform in outfits like a boss and serve between seven to eight looks per night! Sure, the wardrobe budget of this tour keeps spelling ‘wealthy‘ in every language known to man. The queen says this is how you tour like a legend, and we have to approve.

The Looks

Beyoncé was an ethereal wonder in a mini Iris Van Herpen number for her Amsterdam Renaissance show. The structured collar, overflowing cape, and sheer tights reenacted Bey’s diva status. Interestingly, her Tiffany & Co. earrings continued the intriguing details of her outfit.

Meanwhile, Gabrielle Union-Wade has been in a row since the screening of her movie, “The Perfect Find,” began. Last week, she opted for a sheer number from Burc Akyol. The look starred a bodysuit underneath the sheer dress, which held a cape on sturdy shoulders. The actress kept her ponytail sleek, with edges laid to perfection. It’s safe to say that Ms. Union is this season’s perfect find.

It seems the weather intended to pull a fast one on a rainy evening in New York, but Ryan Destiny told it off in a responsive LaPointe coordination. She favored a bulky lavender sweater over a slinky leather skirt to the Tribeca Film Festival and still managed to bring the sass to this understated offering. There are no off days for Destiny, we stan a lady who always knows how to spin any look.

Check out the best-dressed ladies at the Tribeca Film Festival and other events last week…
