New Mavin Records Artist, Boy Spyce, Gets Activated With Debut Single ‘Nobody’ + More New Trending Afrobeat Songs

Nigeria is undoubtedly filled with talents and as a result, we see new artists rising to the challenge regularly. The latest is Mavin Records new artist, Boy Spyce whom Don Jazzy recently announced to much fanfare. Today, the buzzing artist has released his eponymous debut EP which has had social media talking. Clearly, Don “Baba” J sure does know how to pick them.

Over at 30BG, the most recent of Davido‘s signed artists, first lady Liya, is still on the trail of making herself known. Her latest move is a Simi-featured remix to her hit song, Adua, off her debut EP Alari. Whether 10 years into the scene or one month, Nigerian artist have proven to be a musical force around the world. #1. Boy Spyce – Nobody

From social media artist to joining the league of Nigeria’s rising artists, Boy Spyce’s journey has been interesting to watch. Recently activated by Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records, Boy Spyce has released his debut EP titled Boy Spyce. On this EP is the song, Nobody, a song people have referred to as being the best song on the album. Produced by Johnny Drille, the track and the artist have done a great job showing that Boy is here to stay.

#2. Reminisce ft. Simi – Overdose

Indigenous rapper, Reminisce drops a new record he titles, Overdose and features talented vocalist, Simi. This new song is Reminisce’s third single for the year which serves as a follow-up to Hustle and Alaye Toh Seh Gogo. The new Overdose is a love song that talks about excess love. Simi did justice to the record with her lovely vocals and melody. Reminisce is surely giving fans a well-thought-out rollout for his upcoming Alaye To Se Gogo album.

Dangbana Republik releases Many Things by Bella Shmurda based on popular demand. The Niphkeys-produced record is a looped sound that comes with a powerful message. The street poet, who always speaks through his music, returns with yet another conscious message. #4. Masterkraft ft. Chike – Hosanna

Award-winning producer, Masterkraft teams up with talented singer, Chike to deliver an impressive song filled with the gospel — Hosanna in honor of Easter. The Nigerian-born multiple-award-winning music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter delivers this as his second single for 2022. On this new record, Masterkraft and Chike are thankful as they sing Hallelujah to the Almighty, appreciating God’s love, protection, and blessings.

#5. Liya ft. Simi – Adua (Remix)

DMW’s first lady, Liya and Studio Brat boss, Simi join forces to serve fans with the mind-blowing remix to the former’s hit song, Adua. Adua, which is a Yoruba word for prayer, is a track off Liya’s debut EP — Alari. On the track, she riffs in Yoruba across twinkling production while crooning softly about her experiences. With Simi on the remix, fans should expect a more powerful tune.
