Last Week, The Best Beauty Looks Were Seasonally Inspired

In these last few days of the year 2020, black women are bringing the magic with their beauty looks and taking inspiration straight from the season! What would you say the magical colors of the season are? Red or maybe, green? Well, we say, melanin! And we’ve got proof with these face makeup and beauty looks.

Ex-BBNaija housemate Tacha turned 25 last week and to celebrate she shared a face beat that is bound to put you under a spell. Celebrity makeup artist Bibyonce, turned her face into an inspiring work of art with blood-red pout and wispy lashes. Her eyes may have you mesmerized but it’s the seasonal red hot lips that had us feeling merry. Oh, you’ve never seen a black girl with blue eyes?

US-based models Acacia McBride and Aslayy kept things festive as they both opted for green and red tones in varying applications. The result was the perfect combinations of the season’s most popular hues for an advert-perfect shot. Acacia’s eyes are surrounded by a sparkly green and gold eye shadow while Aslayy worked her colors with a play on fabrics.

Model Eden Girmatsion took us on a jolly ride with her hip-hop-inspired Bantu knots look. Styled with a headband and big gold bamboo hoops, she came correct with her black girl glam! We loved everything about this look especially its street style authenticity and timelessness.

The super talented Alissa Ashley brought model Mia Yarborough’s face to life with this styling, makeup, and shoot—which she did all by herself. Call that—black girl magic! With so much to love and be inspired by, the chestnut-colored Afro is our highlight for this look. For this babe named Ruth, it was time to bring snow all the way to Nigeria with her white hair. Her melanin-rich skin was the perfect contrast to her Snow White hair and the overall look was just magical! New year color, anyone?
