The Most Rave-worthy Street Style Looks From Lagos Fashion Week 2026

Lagos Fashion Week 2026 has once again proved why the concrete courtyard of the Federal Palace Hotel is the premier runway for contemporary African street style. From October 28 to November 1, Victoria Island became a vibrant meeting ground for stylists, creative directors, content creators, and style icons.
Responding to the 16th edition’s theme, “CRAFTED: Heritage. Innovation. Circular Futures,” these showgoers transformed off-duty dressing into an intentional art form, punctuating the scene with their richly textured textiles, inventive silhouettes, and unmistakable attitude. As a result, the collective brilliance on display proved that the true essence of Lagosian street style lies in the people who wear the clothes and the stories they choose to tell through them.
Tailoring, Dramatic Headwear & Statement Silhouettes

The concrete courtyard saw fashion insiders taking silhouette and proportions into dynamic, expressive territory. Rather than classic tailoring, guests embraced sculptured structures, dramatic headpieces, and intricate lace detailing.
Media personality Simi Drey turned heads in a striking mustard-yellow mini dress. Her outfit features voluminous, ruffled floral construction layered over an intimate full-length sheer black lace base. However, that’s half the story her ensemble tells. Accessories were just as intentional: a structured black wide-brim hat adorned with delicate metallic embellishments, a compact quilted black vanity bag with a chain strap, and classic gold door-knocker earrings completed her dashing look.

Style curator Debbs made an equally compelling case for moody elegance in a feathery, black lace dress. She was styled to taste alongside Shim Ziorkley who donned an exaggerated wide-leg black leather trousers coupled with a cropped double-breasted jacket. The duo curated a visual expression that demonstrates how top-tier stylists interpret high fashion for street-level impact.
Reimagining Heritage, Craftsmanship & Tactile Textures

In keeping with the “CRAFTED” theme, attendees illustrated how artisanal techniques, fringe, and raw textiles elevate modern daily dressing.
Content creator Eni Popoola (enigivensunday) embraced movement and sparkle in a halter-neck mini dress composed entirely of cascading tiers of fringe. The dress transitioned seamlessly from deep black at the neckline to warm sunset hues and dark metallic tones through the hemline, echoing the multi-dimensional shine of a disco ball. She completed the ensemble with a glittering green clutch and minimal black heels.

In similar fashion, Amina Seck (Amina Ladymya) brought a striking textural mix to the courtyard wearing Orange Culture. Her look paired an asymmetric sleeveless crimson-brushed top with a deep emerald-green sequined skirt draped in woven fringe details. A sharp chocolate-brown pillbox hat and lace-up heels added an editorial finish that Orange Culture can appreciate.

Conscious fashion also met high-energy glamour through Liquorose, who stepped out in an electric-blue Deradim Femme set featuring contrasting nude lace across the bustier and waistband. By combining hand-finished structural details with an unapologetic silhouette, her outfit illustrated how upcycled, locally produced fashion can dominate the street style landscape.
Bold Graphics, Polka Dots & Fluid Menswear

More to the expressive and dynamic statement pieces at Lagos Fashion Week 2026, attendees embraced graphic patterns, primary palettes, and fresh takes on tailoring. This was the unmistakable Lagos attitude, an absolute refusal to be subtle in styling vocabulary.
Kola Omotosho stood out in a structured set from Cute-Saint. His outfit featured a dark green zip-up jacket with vertical white pinstripes. He paired this upper with a matching ultra-wide-leg trousers accented by deep crimson-red flap pockets. And finally, dark sunglasses and sleek metallic shoes grounded his oversized menswear proportion.

In line with that textural storytelling, Nkiruka Faminu offered a clean yet playful approach to monochrome dressing. She achieved this in a two-piece polka-dot ensemble by Lagos label Olalade Atelier. Her look combined a long-sleeved cropped top with a high-waisted mermaid skirt that flared out dramatically at the hem. To break up the crisp white-and-black pattern, she then accessorized with a fluffy, feather-textured clutch in vibrant crimson and matching red dangling earrings.

Digital creator Akin Faminu rounded out the vibrant menswear scene in a sleeveless Orange Culture top with abstract coral artwork. He paired this look with crisp white wide-leg trousers, a red-and-white checkered waist wrap, layered pearl strand necklaces, round sunglasses, and a traditional red cap.
The confidence with which attendees approached expressive colour combinations and print-mixing allowed the statement pieces to take centre stage. The collective look, therefore, served as a beautiful reminder that in Lagos, fashion is never just about the label you wear. It is an open, spirited celebration of who you are and the story you choose to tell.
