Nigerian R&B singer, Johnny Drille and his wife, Rima Tahini, have welcomed a baby girl, Amaris Esohe Ighodaro. Johnny Drille, who is known for his simple lifestyle, took to his official Instagram page to share an adorable video of his baby girl, describing her as the most miraculous thing he has ever known. According to the hitmaker, Amaris was born on November 17, making her six weeks old today.

He wrote, “AMARIS ESOHE IGHODARO | 11.17.23. Six weeks ago today, we held in our arms our daughter for the first time. It’s hard to explain but it’s the most miraculous thing I’ve ever known. Never felt a greater sense of purpose to protect and to nurture. Every day I pray to God to help me be the best father for our daughter, so help me God 🙏🏾.”

2. Cardi B shuts down rumors of an Offset reconciliation

On Christmas day, December 25, Cardi B and Offset reportedly spent Christmas together along with their children, and it looked like the former couple may be working things out in their tumultuous relationship. Sparking more rumors about their reconciliation, an X (formerly Twitter) user @TheePopFeed tweeted on Wednesday, December 27, “Cardi B has officially took Offset back after 12 days,” which went viral.

Another user responded with a clip of Kandi Burruss, star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” telling co-star Porsha Williams, “You just made that up.” After Cardi “liked” the video, everyone knew the original tweet was incorrect, signaling that she is continuing to live her best life as a newly single woman. In early December, Cardi shared on an Instagram Livestream that she and Offset had split up and had been dropping hints on social media that they were no longer a couple.

3. South Africa: The entertainment industry mourns the untimely death of ‘Sarafina!’ star, Mbongeni Ngema

Just as 2023 draws to a close, South Africa has been hit with another shock death in the entertainment industry. Local playwright and actor, Mbongeni Ngema, 68, was killed in a head-on car accident on Wednesday night while returning from a funeral in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape. He was a passenger in one of the vehicles.

Shortly after Ngema’s passing, the singer’s family issued an official statement to confirm the sad news. “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, father, husband, and a patriot, Mbongeni Ngema,” the statement read.

5. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Vinicius Junior link up
