From masterclasses held by experienced individuals in the fashion industry to creative fashion shows, the GTB fashion weekend is always a destination to be; after all, the idea of the GTB fashion weekend is to take away exclusivity from the fashion world. This is why entrance into the masterclasses as well as runway shows are free. With GTB, you learn, shop and have fun.
The fashion masterclasses provide fashion entrepreneurs the unique opportunity to learn from global industry leaders and experienced brands. This year the speakers included a variety of professionals in the fashion industry like Giles Deacon – Fashion Designer, TY Bello – Photographer, Shiona Turini – Fashion Editor & Stylist, Rebecca Osei-Baidoo – Buyer, Women’s Wear, Jay Alexander – TV Personality and Runway Coach among others.
This year’s Runway Shows offered spectators artistic insights into the modern world of Nigerian and global fashion design. The runway featured collections presented by renowned Nigerian designers and high profile international luxury brands.
