Zuhair Murad may be best known for his opulent red-carpet creations, but with his Pre-Fall 2019 Collection, he created the most poetic of looks as inspired by Japanese landscapes.
The collection expanded on daywear, nighttime and tailored pieces, aiming to offer the Zuhair Murad embellishment-loving customers a breadth of options, and open up to younger consumers too.
For the collection, Zuhair Murad played with a variety of rich colours on designs that included wide cape sleeves, kimono silhouettes and wrap collars which were combined with rich embroidery and decadent fabrics. As always, the Lebanese designer offered unique tailoring as he used feathery embroidery, pastels and different lace applications to further enhance his intricate designs.
