The Best Dressed Nigerian Celebrities From This Past Weekend

As much as we love to work and appreciate being able to earn a living, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as enjoying the weekend. This might sound cliché but the weekend is when you have real fun and literally live your best life, No? Well, some of our favourite celebrities also think so too! Heck, they even show off just how much fun they had on the weekend by sharing it on social media.

This weekend was lit! for many Nigerian celebrities but for the likes of Mercy AigbeOg OkonkwoStephanie Coker-Aderinokun, Toke Makinwa, Lilian Afegbai, Ini Dima-Okojie, Eku Edewor, Yutee RoneChioma Ikokwu and Zina Anumudu it was all about topping their fashion game.

Here’s a look at the best Nigerian celebrity styles from this past weekend…

Og Okonkwo

There are some folks who are just so effortlessly chic, so much so that they come off as intimidating. Style Temple’s creative director, Og Okonkwo is one of such people. This weekend she decided that she’d had enough of being simple, so she went straight and gave us a look that is simply awegasmic.

Yutee Rone

This look right here is not one that is wildly popular. Contrasting prints and colours are fun only if you know how best to pull it off. Giving the way designer Yutee Rone combined this look, we would say she did a great job.

Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun

Imagine looking this good! The media starlet is one of a few people that can pull off a sheer lace pant with a blazer and still get us lost for words. This look is ballsy and edgy – very Stephanie!

Chioma Ikokwu

Chioma’s take for the weekend was well structured. The pleated skirt reminds us of the pillars at the temple in Greece. This look is sophisticated and classy and perfect for a weekend lunch date with clients (business casual or casual environments only) or any other day event for that matter.

Mercy Aigbe

Besides acting, Mercy Aigbe sure knows when to put things together in terms of fashion. What’s most interesting about this look is the pinstripe illusion and metallic fabric.

Toke Makinwa

If the queen of SLAY herself isn’t on this list then it’s a sign that there is a problem. The festive season is here and OAP, Toke Makinwa aka baby girl for life stepped out in a casual number that gave us shimmery life thanks to the embellished jacket.

Lilian Afegbai

You have to be super confident about your body if you want to rock a body suit. Although very popular these days, the bodysuit isn’t something to mess around with if you aren’t feeling up to it. However, actress Lily Afe pulls hers off like it’s a walk in the park.

Ini Dima-Okojie

We just “spoke” about contrasting prints the other day and this here is some chocolatey goodness. It’s incredible how this combination is so simple yet comes off as a complete uber chic look. Brave Ini, bravo!

Eku Edewor

There simply isn’t a better time to seek out that shine than this period. TV girl Eku Edewor knows this and that’s why she’s out here rocking this sequin wrap dress as if she invented it.
