In recent times, creativity and creatives have been praised and considered more of as supermen and women and orthodox professions are no longer considered the only way to go which is a good step forward. This is because it has led us to now having more and more young people choosing to go where their hearts lead them. From fashion designers to bloggers, to stylists and photographers, many young people are choosing to nurse their God-given creative talents. One of these young creatives who caught our eyes recently is Visual Artist and Photographer Chidi “Lex Ash” Ashimole.
Lex Ash has established himself as a fashion and portrait photographer with a knack for capturing people especially black women in the most perfect way. He plays with lights and angles in a way that is so uniquely him, proving not just an understanding of his photography tools and lighting but an understanding of his subject and an ability to connect with them which makes his pictures play to their greatest strengths. A skill which has led to him working with many top models and celebrities and many more asking to have their images captured by the rising star.
Lex Ash is easily one of the fastest rising photographers because of his ability to flee from the norm, think out of the box while playing to his strengths and those of his subjects.
