A fashion and culture enthusiast who's really a food loving…
As Escada celebrates its 40th anniversary, the brand took to New York Fashion Week for the first time to reveal its SS19 collection. The collection which was showcased on a maze-shaped runway composed of moss had a line of outfits with bright colours and bold patterns that gave off a strong 1980s working girl vibe.
The Escada collection which was inspired mostly by Julia Robert’s iconic persona in Pretty Woman, features two pieces, racing-horse-prints, shoulder-padded blazers and matching mules with logo mania at their forefront. The brand’s new Global Design Director Niall Sloan designed a new emblem for the brand and this could be seen across clothes as a recurring motif, on belts, bags and more.
