Kylie Jenner never ceases to seize an opportunity to expand her empire. This time, the 22-year-old beauty mogul and the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan is collaborating with Balmain to release another batch of Kylie Cosmetics during the Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020.

Kylie Jenner took to her Instagram page on Monday to alert her fans and followers of this collaboration with an image where she posed with Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain.

In her caption, she wrote:

“Paris is always a good idea 🇫🇷 surprise.. KYLIE X BALMAIN @kyliecosmetics collection launching this Friday 9.27 on KylieCosmetics.com”

According to a press release, the Kylie x Balmain Collection will be unveiled during the French luxury brand’s Paris Fashion Week ready-to-wear show at the historic Opera Garnier on Friday, September 27. That’s just 3 days from now!

No one knows what products would be unveiled but according to WWD, the series will include lip color and eye shadow, among other products and was initially inspired by a pale pink Balmain jumpsuit that Kylie wore to the 61st annual Grammy Awards earlier this year.

In the same interview with WWD, Kylie revealed that this would be the first time she would be collaborating with a fashion house.

On the press release, she added:

“The collection that we created is full of really beautiful shades that can be mixed and matched to create everything from bold, runway-style looks, to soft and pretty glam. The collection is the perfect blend of our personalities and visions, with one goal at the heart of it: to make everyone who wears it feel confident, beautiful and authentically themselves!”

Olivier on his part shared this:

“We worked together the entire process and were always video calling each other to discuss colors and swatches, as well as the packaging design. It’s quite incredible working with Kylie, because she has a very clear vision of what she wants and she’s very committed to the job.”

Seeing as this collaboration was made exclusively for Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2020 show, this therefore becomes a milestone for Kylie Jenner as it marks the first time she will be acting as the artistic director of makeup for a fashion show and the first time Kylie Cosmetics has participated in a fashion show in any official capacity.
