Among the most serious allegations is one woman’s claim that she was subjected to sexual assault in a motel bathroom when she was 17 years old. Another woman alleges that Leto threatened her with sexual assault after she found herself alone with him in a hotel room at age 19.
A third woman claims she had sex with Jared Leto when she was 17 in California. Under California law, sexual activity with someone below the state’s age of consent can constitute statutory rape. Another accuser alleges that Leto repeatedly made sexually explicit phone calls to her when she was 16 and suggested they have sex.
The documentary also includes accounts from several other women who describe receiving explicit phone calls or experiencing uncomfortable interactions with the actor while attending concerts, backstage events, or industry gatherings.

Following the documentary’s release, Jared Leto issued a brief statement through his representatives rejecting every allegation.
“I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life,” the statement read. “These claims are absolutely and categorically false.”
