Last week, Black celebrities and style stars across the world, per usual, delivered top-notch style on a daily basis and it is with pleasure that we are ever-present, eagerly capturing and curating the best looks for your inspiration.
In what ended as a talent-filled week, Black women took center stage as the Super Bowl LV came alive last night. For starters, National Youth Poet Laurete, Amanda Gorman once again captivated the country as she brought poetry to the games for the first time while revving things up in a Moschino attire that showed her off as sophistication personified.
Soon after, talented singer-songwriter Jazmine Sullivan took to the field to perform a duet-style rendition of the American national anthem with country music singer Eric Church. She stunned in a bling detailed all-white suit set by Area NYC which she accessorized with a matching bejeweled headpiece. The headpiece was reportedly in honor of Whitney Houston, as it is similar to the one the late singer wore in her iconic film ‘The Bodyguard.’ Performing a beautiful rendition of America the Beautiful, R&B singer H.E.R. was also a stunner in a denim ensemble designed by Brea Stinson of Stinson Haus.
In Nigeria, OAP and entrepreneur Toke Makinwa gave us more reasons to fall in love with pink as she opted for a soft pink custom playsuit by Lux by Becca with white cuffs and collar details which she complemented with a white Chanel bag and a pair of silver-toned heeled sandals. Already knowing that nude glam is a girl’s favorite safe zone, the sunglasses and blunt wig were the perfect icing to the cake.
Badgalriri, aka Rihanna, opted for a more playful look in a colorfully coordinated, 90s-inspired look that instantly put us in hot girl summer mood . If you’re in search of perfect style coordination, allow this look inspire you.
The most stylish looks shared by black celebrities and fashion influencers were nothing short of chic, edgy, and glamorous and it’s safe to say that we are, as usual, living vicariously through them.
