Each week we bring you our edit of the African men who scored high points in the style department the previous week. From Kizz Daniel to Gemaen Taylor, the celebrities on this list are the very ones you should be taking style tips from.
Our weekly roundup of rave-worthy looks cuts across red carpet looks to casual celebrity spottings across the continent. If a famous guy suited up dapperly, nailed business casual, or just got street-style-snapped looking damn good, this is where you’ll find him.
Last week’s best dressed African men have us craving dark colours again. In Nigeria, Kizz Daniel was a demonstration of how to let your sauce do the talking. He looked super hip in an all-black ensemble consisting of a black t-shirt and a pair of black jeans. He layered a black and white leather Versace jacket over the t-shirt and for shoes, he went with a pair of black platform combat boots and accessorized with a black beanie and some rings.
Over in South Africa, TV presenter Gemaen Taylor made a point of proving that a business casual outfit need not be boring. The easiest way to emulate his success is by mixing up different shades of the same neutral colour, which is something he did with the different shades of blue he put together with just the right amount of white. Proper accessorising helped seal his look and landed him on the best-dressed list.
