As a proud foodie I can tell you that there are so many upsides to being a foodie and I could go on for hours listing them all but I don’t want to bore you with my food tales. Lol! One of the things I love most and truly find rewarding about being a food lover is discovering new dishes and recipes. And thanks to YouTube, I recently discovered this South African Chakalaka meal recipe shared on Sisi Yemmie’s channel.
Food fact alert! Chakalaka is a popular South African braai relish and a staple throughout the country. It is a very simple and easy to prepare spicy dish. If you are a vegan or a card-carrying member of the fit-fam squad like me then this is the perfect dish for you. The most appealing thing about this native South African dish is that it is quite adaptable as you can always switch it up to suit your taste. I mean, what could be more soothing than this?
