The Most Rave-worthy Looks On Women Across Africa – Week Of January 19th

As we continue with our routine of seeking out the most stylish celebrities across Africa last week we spotted some unexpected but totally rave-worthy looks.

The list comes with a few new faces who joined the majority of regulars to deliver looks that made the week ending on January 19 stylishly memorable.

Here are the most rave-worthy looks from women across Africa…

Vanessa Mdee

Tanzanian megastar, musician Vanessa Hau Mdee aka VeeMoney knows her style: eccentric and badass – and she owns it with every fibre in her being. I mean who else can rock multiple colours, patterns and textures as though it runs in their blood?

Bonang Matheba

The woman after many hearts, South Africa’s Bonang Matheba dropped her signature long dresses for this super sexy LBD that broke the Gram last week. And those YSL shoes? Hot! I mean, haute!

Og Okonkwo

Og Okonkwo enraptures us with her style. The Nigerian style aficionado stepped out in an incredible combination that left us craving everything she has on from eyes to heels!

Millen Magese

Tanzanian top model and proud mama Millen Magese knows when to wear a flowy gown, a thought-provoking jumpsuit or awe-inspiring business wear but she also knows when it’s time to be fabulously casual – and she does it all with so much class.

Omowunmi Onalaja

Nigerian minimalist style lover Mimi Onalaja stepped out last week in this beautiful Victorian-inspired ball gown as she hosted the DAAR Awards. This outfit surely hold its own against her co-host, the stylishly oppressive Ebuka Obi Uchendu.

Pokello Nare

It may be the first time Zimbabwean socialite and businesswoman Pokello Nare is on this list but it doesn’t appear it would be her last. The self-proclaimed queen of swagger and owner of shoe brand, Pokello Pink Bottoms sure loves shoes and when she decides to put a whole look together the result is the show-stopper you see above.

Toke Makinwa

No stranger to this list, Nigeria’s most out-spoken boss chick, Toke Makinwa stepped out in this beautifully done Ankara mix shirt dress. The bag, shoe and sunglasses were the perfect add-ons to her look! And that henna design on her hand? We love!

Serwaa Amihere

Ghanaian TV presenter Serwaa Amihere started her week with this simple and sophisticated red dress which she styled with nude Louboutins and a Gucci Ophidia GG medium top handle bag. Serwaa proves once again that work looks don’t have to be characterless.

Thulisile Phongolo

South African Xhosa actress, Thulisile Phongolo came through serving the animal print vibes that we have all come to love so much. She finished off her look with a nicely glammed up face.

Kisa Gbekle

Another new face on the Rave List, Ghanaian actress Kisa Gbekle simple let her killer figure do all the talking in this illusion lace dress which she rocked for her birthday shoot.
