Nigerian Stars Step Out In Sleek Looks As The Macallan Unveils Exquisite Whisky Pair In Lagos

The Macallan hosted Nigeria’s elites—from celebrities to business leaders and executives—in an exclusive launch showcasing their Sherry Oak, 25 and 30 years old, and it was a night filled with top-tier entertainment, food, and music. Guests, who included some of the biggest names in the industry, joined the whisky brand to unveil the oldest in its famous Sherry Oak range. The event, held at the Mantra Restaurant and Lounge in Lagos, had Mai Atafo, the creative director behind ATAFO, in attendance, as well as entertainment industry stars like Moet Abebe, Daniel Atteh, and more. Other guests, like Bolanle Olukanni, Seyitan Atigarin, Tsolaye Everett-Eleoramo, and ex-BBNaija Star Prince Nelson, brought a heavy dose of fashion to the carpet with outfits that spoke volumes. Yes, although whisky was the center of the conversation, the ensembles were a delight to behold.
For instance, media personality Moet Abebe made an unmissable case for black in a chic midi dress with a thigh-high slit and tassels across the neckline that danced as she moved. She complemented this with matching sandals and a pink embellished clutch that sprinkled an air of luxury. Meanwhile, Tsolaye Everett-Eleoramo “bodied” the Rich Aunty aesthetic in a blue bubu paired to perfection with black pumps. Although the coordination was relatively simple, it still packed punch with grace and elegance.
The ladies weren’t the only ones to bring fever-pitch fashion; the boys had the same mission. Prince Nelson Enwerem showed up reiterating the fact that the best way to stand out is to go bold. For the event, the ex-BBNaija star opted for an orange suit solidifying his royal dandyness. He paired that with a black inner shirt and matching tie to balance the vibrancy of the main ensemble. To inject an air of quirkiness, Enwerem finished the look with white-and-black striped socks and black chunky shoes. Elsewhere, Mai Atafo was prim and proper in a sophisticated black suit rocked with a classic white button-down shirt and a black bowtie. Indeed, you don’t always need to reinvent the wheel to turn heads.
At the high point, the glorious guests were serenaded by singer-songwriter Waje whose voice complemented the taste of the whisky. Between Waje’s scintillating vocals, fine whisky tasting, great conversations, and top-tier style, The Macallan delivered on its commitment to excellence, craftsmanship, and exceptional experiences.
