Serena Williams is serving up a new project in the beauty world as she launches a cosmetics line. After six years in the making, Wyn Beauty is finally here. The 23-time Grand Slam champion said the cosmetic brand was inspired by her days on and off the court. The brand features over 90 versatile products for the entire face, starting at $18, including a skin tint, lipstick, mascara, and waterproof eyeliner that can be purchased beginning on April 7 at ulta.com and wynbeauty.com.

Serena Williams said she started working on the cosmetics line, Wyn Beauty, “before COVID” and was able to devote more time to the business after her September 2022 retirement. The collection is a nod to the tennis world, with tennis ball green packaging that Williams said “made sense and is authentic to my story,” while adding, “It means a lot to me because I will always love tennis.”

Tiwa Savage, who previously teased fans with the news of her venture into filmmaking, took to her social media platform on, Thursday, April 4, to disclose the eagerly awaited release date. Savage announced that “Water and Garri” is slated to hit screens on May 10, accompanied by a promotional flier featuring herself alongside Nollywood actors Jemima Osunde and Mike Afolayan.

In her announcement post, Savage expressed her excitement, addressing her followers as “My beautiful people” and inviting them to mark their calendars for the movie’s premiere. She captioned the post, “See you May 10th @primevideo,” generating a flurry of anticipation and support from her enthusiastic fanbase.

3. Chance the Rapper and wife Kirsten Corley announce divorce

Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley are going their separate ways. After five years of marriage, the couple has decided to split up. 5. South African footballer, Luke Fleurs shot dead in car hijacking

South African footballer, Luke Fleurs has been shot dead in a car hijacking, police say. The shooting took place at a Gas station on Wednesday night in Honeydew, a northern suburb of Johannesburg, as per CNN. The 24-year-old Kaizer Chiefs star was waiting to be attended to when he was approached by unknown gunmen, who ordered him to get out of the vehicle. One of the suspects is reported to have fled the scene with Fleurs’ car after the shooting.

“The suspects pointed [at] him with a firearm and took him out of his vehicle, then shot him once on the upper body,” Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo told the media. Kaizer Chiefs, one of the most popular clubs in the country and 12-time league champions, described his death as “tragic.” The club said police were handling the matter and further details would be communicated in due course.
