SR Review: Tiffany Amber’s AW19 Collection Is For The Girl On Fire

When Tiffany Amber showcased her SS19 collection to celebrate her 20th anniversary in November of 2018, we knew that we were going to be expecting an awesome AW19 collection and the brand did not fail us.

For Arise Fashion Week 2019, Tiffany Amber’s runway show opened up with 3 models in colourful ponchos with the DJ playing ‘Girl on Fire’ by Alicia Keys. The music and the outfits made the crowd go wild.

Then the other models began to strut down the runway to the sounds of  ‘Crazy In Love’ by Beyoncé f.t Jay Z, ‘Lady Marmalade’ by Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya, Pink with the show ending to Lionel Richie’s ‘All Night Long.’ The music may have gotten the crowd cheering but the collection definitely made everyone long for a piece of it.

The collection, which featured elegant designs in Nigeria’s Adire fabric, silk, chiffon and organza was filled with vibrant pieces with a luxurious feel to them – the kind of aura we’ve come to know the brand for. For hair accessories, the brand collaborated with Velma accessories who created head knot bands to match a number of the designs.

Filled with rich and sophisticated details, the Tiffany Amber AW19 collection was definitely made for the woman who is on fire, crazy in love and just wants to have fun all night long when the occasion calls for. At least the songs made me feel this way about the collection.

It would have been easier for us to simply upload images of the collections that showed at the Arise Fashion Week 2019, but you deserve more than that. So we’re still on task, reviewing our favourite collections as shown by emerging and eminent brands.
