Ray-Ban Launches Marvel Eyewear Collection Featuring Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Doom, and Deadpool

Ray-Ban is bringing four of Marvel’s most recognizable superheroes and villains into its eyewear universe with a new collaborative collection featuring Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Doom, and Deadpool. The Ray-Ban Marvel Eyewear Collection reinterprets some of the brand’s established silhouettes through character-inspired colors, insignias, engravings, and distinctive finishing details. The lineup includes four adult sunglasses designs, alongside a children’s selection of optical and sun frames inspired by Spider-Man and Captain America.
The release arrives ahead of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday, giving Doctor Doom a particularly timely presence in the collaboration. Rather than introducing conventional superhero merchandise, Ray-Ban approaches the partnership through its existing design language, incorporating Marvel references into recognizable eyewear styles. Each frame reflects the personality of its respective character while retaining the proportions and construction associated with the brand.
Four Marvel Characters Inspire the Adult Sunglasses Collection
The adult lineup features four dedicated designs, with each character receiving a different interpretation of Ray-Ban’s eyewear heritage. The collection moves between established silhouettes and more contemporary shapes, using recognizable Marvel symbols and costume references to distinguish the individual models.
Doctor Doom receives the Bill Max, a gold-tone Aviator-inspired frame with deep green lenses, priced at $260. Precision laser detailing adds texture to the design, while the character’s insignia appears on the lenses and temple tips. The combination of gold metal and green accents references the ruler of Latveria’s familiar aesthetic, giving the frame a particularly distinctive appearance.
Spider-Man’s contribution comes through the Wayfarer Folding, priced at $249. The black square frames feature red spiderweb detailing along the temples, with the superhero’s insignia appearing on the lenses and temple tips. The folding construction allows the sunglasses to collapse into a more compact shape, while a special engraved message is concealed within the bridge hinge.
Captain America receives the Aviator Max, retailing for $319. The design revisits Ray-Ban’s original pilot-inspired silhouette, introduced in 1936, with silver metal construction and red, white, and blue accents along the temples. A blue leather bridge cover carries the First Avenger’s Super Soldier star, while his shield insignia appears on the lens and temple tips.
Deadpool’s RB2228, meanwhile, takes a more unconventional direction. Priced at $227, the wraparound sunglasses feature curved lenses and a metallic gradient finish that transitions between black and red. The character’s signature color palette continues through the anti-slip temple tips, which incorporate red-and-white detailing. His insignia is also printed on the lens and temples, completing the character-inspired design.
Ray-Ban Extends the Collaboration to Children’s Eyewear
Alongside the adult sunglasses, the Ray-Ban Marvel Eyewear Collection includes a children’s selection inspired by Spider-Man and Captain America. The range features sunglasses, optical frames, and a Mini Aviator, extending the collaboration beyond the four principal adult designs.
Spider-Man’s children’s sunglasses arrive in a bright red frame with mirrored lenses decorated with silver spiderweb detailing. The character’s graphics continue along the temples, while a safety cord featuring a small rubber Spider-Man figure adds a playful finishing touch. A matching optical frame comes in a slim, squared silhouette with character graphics on the temples and detachable clip-on sun lenses featuring a web pattern.
Captain America’s contribution to the children’s range takes the form of a Mini Aviator. The smaller pilot-inspired frame uses red metal construction and blue lenses, with shield-inspired details appearing on the temple tips. The design brings the character’s familiar visual identity into a scaled-down version of one of Ray-Ban’s most recognizable eyewear styles.

Availability and Pricing
The Ray-Ban Marvel Eyewear Collection is available through select Ray-Ban stores and the brand’s official online store. The adult sunglasses are priced between $227 and $319, with the Deadpool RB2228 serving as the most affordable option and Captain America’s Aviator Max occupying the highest price point.
With four distinct character interpretations and an accompanying children’s range, the collaboration brings Marvel’s visual universe into Ray-Ban’s established eyewear catalog. Each design incorporates recognizable superhero references through considered detailing rather than oversized graphics, allowing the frames to retain their identity as Ray-Ban sunglasses while celebrating the characters behind them.
