Once featured in Essence magazine in a list of top 10 beautiful women who would inspire you to shave your head, Hamamat Montia is a model and entrepreneur who hails from the northern part of the Republic of Ghana – Tamale. Hamamat is definitely a woman who inspires! The former Miss Malika Queen grew up in the village of Bolgatanga and was raised by a strong business oriented family whose main produce was Shea butter.
At the age of 17 after winning a beauty pageant, Hamamat Montia’s ideology changed. She knew that she was capable of achieving anything she set her mind on and this first step moulded the idea of “the global African ambassador” she’s now referred to as.
Using her new found fame and platform, Hamamat began to enlighten and tackle crucial issues around her community, while still posing for photo shoots and editorial spreads. She was always aware of the power of the media/social media platforms through which she has thus far inspired and educated a lot of people asides from her non-media outreach.
A mother to two beautiful daughters, Hamamat never forgot where she came from as she went back to re-brand her family’s Shea Butter business, taking it to the global market. Her luscious and lovely skin gives off a glow that shines so bright and this is enough evidence if you needed to know the wonders of Shea Butter. From modelling, which she still does on the side, to owning a successful beauty business, Hamamat Montia is one young African woman to watch out for.
Here are beautiful shots of Hamamat Montia looking all radiant and unapologetically African…

Happy Saturday #KingsandQueens I went back to the village spa to get my skin #rejuvenated . Here I am having the #Nuunia bath which improves Even skin-tone✔️ Tighter pores ✔️ Blemish free ✔️ Glowing skin ✔️ & Over all skin health. Just the way nature intended. The #herbs 🌿 where picked fresh from the garden mixed and applied all over my skin . I mean Everywhere , then I leave it on for an hour before shower . I can't wait to share this with you on @hamamatafricanbeauty I wish you could touch my skin after my shower. It feels like Silk and butter . I really enjoyed this #maskbath except the part my baby #Safari cried after she saw me like this . I know it looks crazy but this stuff works . These Queens are signing songs of beauty & praise while they apply the herbs . Song Translates :::Your beauty is like a rock No Rain , No Sun , No weather can change that . Your beauty is everlasting , It grows and only grows …. #Travelwithhamamat #Africanbeauty #Ghana #Africa
