As 2020 begins the wind up to a new year, male celebrities across Africa showed us the joy of dressing for Christmas in looks that were personal, definitive and dazzling. When you have a signature look, why would you ever bow to trend?
Last week, the festive mood was continental, bringing welcome excitement and timely exploration of the party wardrobe from Nigeria to South Africa. Sometimes the best outfit is simply the one that makes you smile.
Over in Nigeria, media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu gave us a delicious piece of orange this holiday in Orange Culture “Casj” pieces. He matched a neon orange button-down shirt with a pair of orange linen pants. He complemented the outfit with a pair of silver snake skin boots which was able to balance the pop of orange.
Down south, South African actor Thapelo Letsebe opted for a traditional suit look as he stepped out in a double-breasted striped suit over a classic white shirt. For his shoes he also opted for a classic look and added a needed contemporary flair with a pair of colored round sunglasses.
