Last Week, Dewy Looks And Glossy Finishes Were All The Rave | Best Beauty Looks

It’s a wonderful thing to see creativity continue to flourish despite the times. Last week, creativity in the world of beauty guided us towards dewy looks and a touch of shimmer on beautiful brown skin. Makeup on black women.

Brown skin is versatile! Can I get an Amen? Just look at how these dark skinned models, Eniola Abioro, Nimah Ojetimi, Briana Michelle and the Ugandan sisters, Achan and Angie Biong prove this to us in their own unique ways.

Can we all just say “Thank you Aunty Jackie” for always being courageous with bright colors that many dark skinned women shy away from. This week, Jackie Aina’s orange lippie was THE highlight and rightfully so, check out how she wore it––so classy!

Birthday girl, Chioma Ikokwu brought old Hollywood glamour to the gram as she posed in a magnificent bedazzled black gown for her birthday shoot. She complemented the very ‘Xtra’ gown with a high front-side drop hairstyle and a smokey eye glam look that was softened with the perfect nude lips.

On the hair side of things, we spotted everything from intricate traditional African cornrows to a mega Afro as seen on fashion entrepreneur Olarslim, while dewy skin and glossy finishes defined the makeup looks we fell in love with.

Check out the best hair and makeup looks we spotted last week…
