The Hip Hop World Awards now known as The Headies has been celebrating and recognizing outstanding achievements in the Nigerian Music Industry since 2006. The 12th edition of the show which was held last night at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre saw the likes of DMW boss Davido, Simi and Wizkid as the biggest winners of the night with each bagging more than one award.
Seyi Shay and Bovi as its host with Seyi Shay also owning The Headies red carpet in a bold black dress by Nigerian fashion brand, Jahdara Couture. The dress was made from velvet and layers of organza fabric.
As expected, celebrities like Tiwa Savage, Waje Iruobe, Omawunmi, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Mayorkun, Praiz, Osas Ajibade, Bolanle Olukanni and Yemi Alade turned up en masse to the event.
