Last Week, The Best Dressed Men Added Some Oomph To Street Style

January is always an exciting time for fashion, as the month is packed full of red-carpet moments (the Golden Globes, the Critics’ Choice Awards, and the Sundance Film Festival are all taking place this month). In addition, the return of menswear shows and Couture Fashion Week lent us an avenue to see plenty of audacious street style and front-row dressing from famous faces. Last week, as the gents paraded, we stood grinning from ear-to-ear taking style notes, and watched as they enjoyed a fashionably jolly good time across the globe.

The Looks

Hitting the shows in the City of Love was singer Usher. The crooner, who is known for his high notes and ever-evolving fashion sense, wore a street-style-worthy Wales Bonner varsity jacket over a pair of black pants with white stripes on the side. Usher perfected the monochromatic ensemble with a pair of white and black Adidas sneakers and black eyewear. He added a pop of color with his distinctly dyed burnt orange hair. Divine!

Another star who stole the attention at the shows in Paris was “Emily in Paris” actor Lucien LaViscount. The actor graced the Louis Vuitton men’s show in a dramatic blue pleated Louis Vuitton number and a cropped Louis Vuitton sweater, proving that men can also look good in big pleats. For shoes, he opted for a pair of Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 sneakers, completing his single-brand ensemble.

Over in America, for the premiere of “You People,” the movie in which he features, Eddie Murphy took to the red carpet with his fiancée, Paige Butcher in a clean and simple all-black look featuring the star of the ensemble, a Saint Laurent jacket and a pair of APL Superfuture high top sneakers.

Male celebrities across the globe never fail to leave us spellbound with their picture-perfect looks. From the Parisian streets during fashion week to red carpets across America, they certainly gagged us with their style choices last week.
