The award season has begun! Leading up to the Oscars, the grand finale event, Hollywood’s top stars will be making their rounds on the red carpet during the coming months. A-list celebrities and their stylists are already busy scheduling fittings and accumulating designer options due to the abundance of step-and-repeats. Beginning the annual array of events is the Golden Globe Award ceremony, which took place last Monday, and gave us a taste of the red carpet fashion that is to come.
However, award season was not the only reason celebrities had to get dressed last week. There were a number of sporting events that saw A-list athletes walk the tunnel in stylish ensembles.
The Looks
At the Beverly Hilton, we saw a variety of fresh formal designs make their way to the carpet. Comedian and actor Jerrod Carmichael, who happened to be the host of the event, had a roster of looks for the night. One of the ensembles that caught our attention was the white Atelier Cillian suit, which was worn over a white tulle turtleneck innerwear and white loafers. What better way to stand out at a black-tie event than wearing white?
Elsewhere, ahead of his Week 18 game matchup, Cincinnati Bengal’s pro player Eli Apple went cool for blue in a Marni set consisting of a blue check-down shirt and ribbed knee trousers. He delivered a casual luxury style moment by layering with black wool blend JW Anderson jacket and finishing off the look with a pair of black platform Celine penny loafers and a black Louis Vuitton duffle bag. Through the black, the blue shone brightly.
Through the list of events that took place last week, male celebrities gave us a range of looks across the fashion spectrum.
