As life gradually returns to a semi-normal state, celebrities and style stars across Africa––who happen to also be some of the best Instagram fashion influencers––are finding more reasons to dress up, step out and make a fashion statement before the curfew kicks in wherever they are. fashion style Instagram influencers

African celebrities and fashion influencers are consistently using their style to prove that a global pandemic doesn’t equal an end to doing the things we love––especially if it keeps us going. Even as we continuously preach the gospel of safety and ask that you observe social distancing rules, we also want to re-emphasize the fact that a fashionable outfit should not only make you look good on the outside but also make you feel confident from the inside out. That confidence is exactly what we can feel from the women on this list.

Last week, some of the most stylish celebs and style stars in Africa stepped out in a range of amplified looks which they, of course, shared on Instagram. Ghanaian style star, actress, writer, producer, TV personality, and philanthropist, Zynnell Zuh celebrated her birthday glammed up in a silver sequined playsuit with peplum details. Needless to say she nailed the sultry look with ease.

In Nigeria, celebrities and style influencers took to Instagram to show off a variety of looks––from red carpet-worthy looks to chic traditional-inspired looks. Idia Aisien showed off a bedazzled look in a dress by Tope FnR as she attended the Remy Martins dinner. Keeping things contemporarily traditional, Chioma Ikokwu showed us how pretty the Adire fabric can be when designed and sewn right, while Ini Dima-Okojie proved once again that the Ankara mix print and sneakers combo is always a hit!

The looks shared last week by African celebrities and fashion influencers were nothing short of glamorous and it’s safe to say that we’re living vicariously through them.
