Last Week The Best Dressed Men Opted For Liberating Silhouettes

Silhouette can truly make or break a look. Last week, the best-dressed stars proved this statement by embracing looks that were perfectly selected to suit them. Whether it was a luxury brand get-up, a statement suit, or a fire-casual fit, these stylish celebrities slipped into ensembles that had definitive structure to them. From interesting patterns to USA-inspired biker jackets and fringe details, emphasizing silhouettes was the goal and Black men certainly didn’t miss.

The Looks

There was definitely a sense of drama on the streets of New York last week. At the Thom Browne showcase for the New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2023 show, rapper Pusha T leaned into sartorial bliss via a head-to-toe Thom Browne look, including the iconic Hector tote. Meanwhile, at a pre-NBA All-stars event, singer Burna Boy opted for earth tones in a full Louis Vuitton by Colm Dillane ensemble which was shown at the recent Men’s Fashion Week, and his signature diamond-encrusted accessories to add some bling to the look.

Even the week’s more pared-back moments still made an impact. The newly appointed creative director of Louis Vuitton Men, Pharrell Williams, was spotted on the streets of Paris with longtime collaborator Nigo, who was repping his new design home. Williams wore the Louis Vuitton x Nigo denim jacket, a pair of denim pants, and the $4,000 Louis Vuitton x Nigo newsboy hat that added a playful yet fashionable feel to the look. Rapper Tobe Nwigwe’s self-designed mint-green Moncler fit also made a case for less is more dressing: the interlocking patterns and soft color whispered elegance.

From New York Fashion Week to date nights for Valentine’s Day, the best-dressed celebrities gravitated towards impactful casual outfits that caught the attention of the paparazzi and put them in a tasteful light.

Check out the best fashion statements from last week’s best-dressed Black men…
