TThe grand finale of the Aquafina Elite Model Look 2018 held last Saturday at Art Twenty One Gallery. From over 1000 aspiring models, the number was reduced to 20 and then 2 winners emerged with the chance to represent Nigeria at the Elite Model World contest later on in the year.
The winners, Olivia Edomonu and Nosarumen Awanbor, who were not only selected based on their photogenic qualities, personality, and natural beauty, but also for their potential to correspond to current fashion trends, will join other National winners worldwide to participate in the prestigious Elite Model Look World Final taking place in Europe later this year.
Top models like Ruth Bell, Vittoria Ceretti, Benjamin Benedek, Mayowa Nicholas, Victor Ndigwe and Davidson Obennebo were all discovered by the Elite Model Look contest and have propelled to fame. Davidson Obennebo became the first black model to win the Elite Model Look International in 2016.
For the night, models, media personalities, actors and all fashion lovers brought their A-game as they looked chic in their ensembles. From Toke Makinwa in a Self-Portrait Striped dress with lace inserts to Lilian Afegbai in a floral jumpsuit from 2207 by Tbally, the stars looked elegant, stylish and served inspiration for days.
