Buju Serenades Us With Testimony + More New Songs Across Africa

2021 has afforded the world, and the African music industry a privileged look into the versatility of African artists. After a musically exciting 2020, artists across Africa have made it their agenda to take it a notch further in providing a new music dimension. Consequently, this week, Nigerian singer Buju gave us a taste of that evolution on his new song titled, Testimony in which he serenades listeners with his signature melodies.

Buju is back again. While still having multiple spots on charts, he announced the release of Testimony some hours before its release. On Testimony, Buju thrills listeners once again with his silky, effortless, melodies as he speaks to a potential love interest. He teases her with the love-infested experiences she could have, which she, as a result wouldn’t be able to resist spreading the word.

Duo, Ajebo Hustlers have released another song while Pronto is still making waves. On the song, Yafun Yafun which means abundance, the duo made document the problems that come with relationships. They want the world to know that they have come to change the game again after their successful and still trending song Pronto.

#3. Diamond Platnumz ft Focalistic, Mapara A Jazz, Ntoshi Gazi – Iyo

Tanzania’s sensational recording artist Diamond Platnumz, has released a new hit single titled Iyo, featuring South African talents Focalistic, Ntosh Gazi and musical group Mapara A Jazz. Iyo is a light-hearted, dance track sure to brighten up any bleak atmosphere. It is Diamond’s second release of the year.

Darkoo and Tion Wayne have united once again to give us visuals for their new collaboration, Slow Down. Having collaborated in the past, the two artists aren’t new to working together and this is evident in their natural chemistry on Slow Down – a feel-good offering made up of melodies and playful lyrics.

#5. Olayinka Ehi ft. Mannywellz – Someone else

After a long hiatus, talented Nigerian singer Olayinka Ehi rolls out a brand new song titled Someone Else. On the new single, she enlists fellow America-based Nigerian singer, Mannywellz for an unforgettable track. Someone Else is a memorable anti-love anthem perfect for anyone going through the regrets of an undeserving lover.
