Best Beauty Looks: Zainab Balogun, Lori Harvey, And More

Black skin must have an underlying layer of gold. Just look at how it glows in any situation. No matter what shade of Black you are, always remember that there is a golden beauty on the inside that is always ready to shine, literally and otherwise!

The makeup

This golden type of beauty is the vibe we got as we curated last week’s best beauty looks. Nollywood actress, Zainab Balogun put us in our feels with her breathtaking smile and dimpled cheeks. Her natural beauty was polished with green smokey eyes and nude lip gloss.  Still on smokey eyes and glossy lips looks, beauty influencer Zainab Hassan was a stunning beauty in her hijab-crowned look. Glossy lips are all the trend right now and we love it!

The Hair

Ghanaian makeup artiste, Vanessa Gyimah framed her beautiful face with two strands of curly hair while actress. Lori Harvey and South African beauty blogger, Lungile Thabethe also decided to opt for the curls in the face look, and we have to say it’s quite a subtle way to serve a sultry vibe. Also apparent is the fact that, from dark to light skin, there’s no shade of black that curly hair doesn’t suit.

Updos are still in and you already know how much we love stress free hairstyles. Just see how spirituality influencer Nia-Cerise’s hair makes a kinky crown atop her golden face beat! We are closing off last week’s beauty with The White Melanin’s Japanese-inspired look. Where do we even begin? Was it the exquisite type of bun? Or the traditional graphic eye liner look? She sure did justice the Japanese half of her being!

With a list this rich in beauty, we can all agree that black women are simply magnificent.

Check out the best beauty looks from last week…
