Last Week’s Best Dressed Stars Opted For Frame-enhancing Elegance

H

aving the right words at the right time might fail, but where the comforting stream of words fails, good fashion can speak loudly and serve a therapeutic purpose. Unlike words, you can train yourself to always hit and never miss. If you love chic styling (don’t we all?), the past week took this feature a notch higher. Celebrities who understand the art of individualistic styling took the reins and won. Events like the Fashion Trust U.S. awards brought the likes of Kelly Rowland and Janelle Monáe to the shore of elite dressing.

The tailored suits were an admirable pick with interesting colors, ditching the neutral tints. The trains on a few frocks were a bulky release of dopamine, with exaggerated fabrics doing their number on the carpet. The exciting display of high fashion might sound like a weekly affair but is in no way predictable.

The Looks

Kelly Rowland graced the Fashion Trust U.S. awards carpet in a tasteful Harbison Studio number. The dress was a delightful blend of a neatly tailored body married with exaggerated sleeves, and the train was all the elegance needed to navigate the night’s fashion theme.

Zendaya continued her press tour of The Challengers movie, serving a serial off-white spree. Spotted in Monte Carlo, the star girl looked like a blonde 90s lass who came from wealth in a laid-back fit. The Brunello Cucinelli relaxed sweatshirt was the perfect match for the lightweight skirt and nude pumps she paired with it. Whether in a simple coordination or fashion-forward ensemble, Zendaya will always win.

Elsewhere, Janelle Monáe and Keke Palmer took their suit game for a color upgrade. Wearing a red Sergio Hudson suit to the Fashion Trust U.S awards, Janelle Monáe stunned in palazzo pants and a white shirt with bow tie details. Keke, on the other hand, wore a lilac Michael Kors offering to a Fallon Tonight event in LA. Both suits might differ in cuts, but the color splash was a welcome injection of fun to our timelines.
