Kicking things off with a bang, South Africa’s “Queen B,” Bonang Matheba came through with a red ombre eye makeup look. The media it-girl and style star also had a 90s inspired dark lip liner moment as she struck a sassy pose to go with it. Speaking of colorful lids, American singer-songwriter Kehlani had us gushing over a peach lid and lip combo. The sultry blend was a sure hit and her freckled skin topped it off flawlessly.
On the au natural side of things, the makeup scene had Adut Aketch to thank with her muted/dewy skin flash. The South Sudanese-Australian model’s “no makeup” makeup look set a gorgeous bar for our skincare routines. Equally serving skin goals, Somalian beauty influencer Hodan Yusuf’s soft summer glam shone bright, effortlessly. From her subtle sunset-inspired bronzed cheeks to her cherry blush tones, Hodan’s stunning look had us thinking “black diamond!”

For starters, Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro shared an avant-garde look that was as striking as it was creative. The woven web look had pure pizazz to its styling and a certain aura of audacity you can’t help but love. Similarly gleaming up our feeds, Nigerian fashion model Princess Chidera Udeh had us wanting Bantu Knots ASAP! With silver ring embellishments and lustrous baby hair, her whole beauty look was the perfect union of traditional and contemporary.
