Adele is set to make her long-awaited acting debut in Cry to Heaven, a forthcoming film written and directed by acclaimed designer and filmmaker Tom Ford. The Grammy-winning singer, 37, will star in the adaptation of Anne Rice’s 1982 novel, which follows two men in 18th-century Italy who are castrated to preserve their pure soprano voices. The star-studded cast also includes Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ciarán Hinds, George MacKay, Colin Firth, Paul Bettany, and Thandiwe Newton. Filming is scheduled to take place in London and Rome ahead of a planned fall 2026 release, with industry insiders already touting the project as one of Ford’s most ambitious to date.
Cry to Heaven will be Ford’s third feature film, following A Single Man (2009) and Nocturnal Animals (2016), both of which earned critical acclaim and multiple award nominations. For Adele, it marks her acting debut and first major screen role, having previously appeared only as herself in brief television cameos. After concluding her Las Vegas residency in late 2024 and taking a break from the spotlight, the singer’s move to film represents a new creative chapter. Fans and critics alike are eager to see how the powerhouse vocalist’s charisma and emotional depth translate to the big screen.

The Nigerian music scene is buzzing with anticipation as two of its biggest stars, Wizkid and Odumodublvck, gear up to release a surprise joint single on Friday, November 21. While the track’s title remains a mystery, the announcement has already sent fans into a frenzy across social media, with many calling it one of the most exciting collaborations in recent Afrobeats history. The pairing promises to merge Wizkid’s smooth, global Afropop sound with Odumodublvck’s gritty, streetwise rap energy. This combination could redefine the sonic boundaries of contemporary Nigerian music.
Both artists are coming off major highs in their respective careers. Wizkid’s 2024 album Morayo and his hit single “Piece of My Heart” featuring Brent Faiyaz continue to dominate charts, while Odumodublvck’s Industry Machine has solidified his reputation as one of the most fearless voices in African hip-hop. Though they previously linked up on Odumodublvck’s “Big Time,” this marks their first full-scale collaboration where both share equal billing. Coinciding with Odumodublvck’s sold-out headline show at Drumsheds in London, the single’s release is perfectly timed for maximum global impact. As fans count down the days, the industry is bracing for what could be one of 2025’s biggest musical moments.
3. Jeffrey Epstein Makes Claims About Donald Trump in Three Newly Released Emails

Newly released emails obtained by Congress are sparking renewed scrutiny of Jeffrey Epstein’s relationship with President Donald Trump. On Wednesday, November 12, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee shared three redacted correspondences from Epstein—one sent to his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell in 2011 and two to author and Trump biographer Michael Wolff in 2015 and 2019. In one message, Epstein wrote to Maxwell, “that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump,” adding that a redacted victim “spent hours at my house with him.” Another exchange shows Wolff warning Epstein that CNN might ask Trump about their relationship during a 2015 presidential debate, to which Epstein suggested crafting an answer for him. In a later 2019 email, Epstein appeared to claim that Trump “knew about the girls” and had once asked Maxwell “to stop.”
The White House swiftly dismissed the revelations, with Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt accusing Democrats of leaking the messages to create a “fake narrative.” She reiterated that Trump “kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club decades ago for being a creep” and emphasized that alleged victim Virginia Giuffre had previously stated Trump was never involved in wrongdoing. Representative Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, countered that the emails “raise glaring questions about what else the White House is hiding and the nature of the relationship between Epstein and the President.” The release comes amid growing calls for Trump to make public the so-called “Epstein files,” a cache of documents tied to the late financier’s criminal network, as questions about the full extent of Epstein’s political connections continue to mount.
4. Wendy Williams’s New Medical Findings Expose Guardian Lies
#Exclusive 🚨 Wendy Williams does not have the medical condition a judge has used to justify keeping her in a highly restrictive guardianship.

Veteran broadcaster Wendy Williams is pushing to terminate the court-imposed guardianship that has controlled her finances and medical decisions since 2022, following medical examinations that found no evidence of frontotemporal dementia. The neurological testing, completed last month by a New York specialist, contradicts the diagnosis originally used to justify the guardianship. Williams’s attorneys say the findings, combined with her three years of sobriety and ongoing social engagement, demonstrate her cognitive stability and ability to manage her own affairs.
Attorney Joe Tacopina plans to file a formal petition within the next two weeks, citing the new medical evidence. If the court denies the request, Tacopina has indicated he may seek a jury trial, an unusual step in guardianship cases. Williams’s legal team argues that the case highlights broader questions about conservatorships and the rights of adults deemed vulnerable, particularly when medical conditions improve. The outcome could have significant implications for how courts evaluate similar arrangements in the future.
5. Arsenal Learn Troubling Martin Ødegaard Injury News from Norway
Norway boss issues concerning injury update on Martin Odegaard’s fitness – as Arsenal captain continues recovery from knee issue https://t.co/MvYEr6mcax
— Daily Mail Sport (@MailSport) November 11, 2025
Arsenal have been dealt a setback in their hopes of welcoming captain Martin Ødegaard back to action, after Norway manager Ståle Solbakken revealed the midfielder remains “some distance away” from full fitness. Ødegaard has been sidelined since suffering medial ligament damage to his left knee during Arsenal’s 2–0 victory over West Ham on October 4. Initial scans suggested a six-week recovery period, raising hopes he could return for the north London derby against Tottenham later this month. However, Solbakken’s update has cast doubt on that timeline, with the 26-year-old now expected to continue his rehabilitation with Norway’s medical staff during the international break.
Despite being unfit to play, Ødegaard has joined Norway’s national squad in a non-playing capacity to offer support ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifiers against Estonia and Italy. Speaking about his recovery, the Arsenal captain said he has been training “every day” and has recently begun running on an anti-gravity treadmill to accelerate his return. While Arsenal closely monitor his progress, the club remains cautious about rushing their captain back into action, aware of his importance to Mikel Arteta’s midfield. Ødegaard’s absence continues to be felt as the Gunners look to maintain their strong start to the Premier League season.
