We are looking back at 2018 and can’t help but exclaim ‘what a year!’ 2018 has undeniably been very eventful in the Nigerian fashion and entertainment spheres. Of particular note was how much the fashion scene burgeoned this year. From fast moving trends to amazing collection releases by talented Nigerian designers, there was no dull moment this year. Then there was a change in tempo in celebrity styles. From the red carpet where celebs showed up in very refined looks to stunning street style takes, it was a revolving case of you snooze, you lose!
When put in perspective, the style game of Nigerian men has really improved over the past couple of years and in 2018, it most definitely peaked. From the undeniably stylish Ebuka Obi-Uchendu to the beloved veteran actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, to everyone’s favourite fashion boy, Denola Grey, this was the year Nigerian men showed up in eye-catching outfits and impeccable styling. While we didn’t regularly curate the best-dressed men as we do for the ladies, it doesn’t mean that their efforts went unnoticed.
