Whether that meant choosing fashion with a sustainable slant or putting a fresh twist on a familiar get-up, the stars seemed intent on making unforgettable statements
The Looks
Every guest at Annabel’s 60th-anniversary party interpreted a cocktail look differently, but it was “Snowfall” star Damson Idris who caught our attention. Fresh from playing a beloved character, Idris gave his Prada finery a good representation, pairing a beautiful yellow Prada shirt with screen-printed art on it with black pants and a pair of black penny loafers. With his layers of silver necklaces, Idris brought a welcome sense of fun to the gathering.
Over in New York, American Playwright Jordan E. Cooper wore a full Off White look to a gathering of his peers and colleagues at the 76th Tony Awards. The ‘Best Featured Actor in a Play’ nominee wore a brown faux leather Off White suit with perspective human paintings on it. He elevated the look with a super trendy pair of black platform boots and a custom-made H. Crowne airplane necklace. The ensemble was at once rule-smashing and eye-popping.
Even formulaic looks received a hard knock on the head. Since the NBA season ended, basketball pros have been engaging in other activities. One of them is Jaren Jackson who dressed to impress while taking meetings in Milan. The pro walked the streets in a black and white offering consisting of a denim jacket which he wore over a pair of Monfere Greyson Blanc Leopard pants. For shoes, he opted for a pair of Nike court vision low-top sneakers and gave the look an extra lift with a black Louis Vuitton cross-body bag. Talk about elevation! World Most Stylish Men
