If there’s one thing we love about music by African artistes, it’s how they tap into the listeners emotions and elevate whatever mood they’re in. We could say this is why African artistes are getting more international recognition now. Speaking of African artistes with International recognition, our favourite African has girl, Tiwa Savage has finally released her highly anticipated album, CELIA, and we absolutely love it.

Without further ado, here are the five songs we are feeling at the moment…
#1. Park well – Tiwa Savage ft Davido
Tiwa Savage came together with OBO himself, Davido for this wonderful love song called Park Well, produced by Speroach Beatz. Park Well which features Davido is one of the many bops on Tiwa Savage’s new album, CELIA. Park well is the product of two Nigerian love songs masters joining forces on a song.
#2. Space and time – Victony
Nigerian rising Rapper and singer, Victony has blessed fans with a new song he calls Space and time off his debut EP Saturn. The song Space and time, which is the third track on the 6-song EP, sees Victony talk about the effects of breaks in relationships and how they don’t always serve their expected function.
#3. Black and White – Nasty C ft. Ari Lennox
South African rapper, Nasty C returns with a new song which he titles Black And White featuring American RnB singer, Ari Lennox. It is taken off his just-released album Zulu man with some power. This is the fifth song off the 20-track album. Nasty C has been dominating South African charts all year round. With the release of his album, that’s bound to multiply.
#4. Monsters we made – Burna Boy ft Chris Martin
Nigerian Afro-fusion singer/songwriter, Burna Boy releases the second video Monsters You Made, which features Coldplay front man Chris Martin, off his recently released album TWICE AS TALL. Shot in Lagos, Nigeria by a conglomerate of film directors: Meji Alabi, JM films and Clarence Peters, this video depicts the resultant anarchy based on years of deprivation of people who exist in the land of plenty. Burna Boy brings the messages in the video home with a sample from the resounding 1987 interview with Ghanaian poet, Ama Ata Aidoo.
#5. Slow burner – Larry Gaga ft Joeboy
Larry Gaga seems to be in a roll as the Gaaga Music boss has released a new song titled Slow Burner. On the new song , the music entrepreneur teams up with emPawa singer, Joeboy who did nothing but justice to the mind-blowing song. The song was accompanied by stunning visuals.
