The 6th edition of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards took place on Friday, December 7th at the Kampala Serena Hotel in Kampala, Uganda. With the theme ‘Fashion is Power,’ in mind, African celebrities turned up fashionably dressed for the red carpet.
This year’s event was hosted by Nigerian top designer Mai Atafo, Kenyan OAP Anita Nderu and TV host Tracy Wanjiru, with fashion showcases by David Tlale, Maxhosa, Mai Atafo, Alecool and Kkoolo.
There were winners from all over Africa with Nigeria’s Emmanuel Oyeleke bagging home the award for fashion photographer of the year (Africa), Tobi Bakre – the most stylish male celebrity of the year (Africa) and Eki Ogunbor – fashion writer of the year (Africa).
