Rihanna and ASAP Rocky are dating, a source relayed to the media. News of Rihanna and Rocky dating follows months of speculation and rumors that the two have been seeing each other. Neither Rocky or Rihanna have confirmed that they’re together, but it was reported that the two were spotted having dinner with some friends at New York’s Beatrice Inn Saturday night.

Rihanna reportedly broke up with her boyfriend Hassan Jameel in January after three years together. Later that month, rumors of a rekindled Rihanna and Rocky romance first arose, but it was later clarified that they were merely “hanging out.”

2. Nigeria: Mr. Eazi buys himself a multimillion Range Rover as Christmas gift

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr. Eazi has started his Christmas very early. The artist has taken to his Instagram story to share photos and videos of the new Range Rover he got for himself as a Christmas gift for himself. The car comes with an all black exterior and a predominantly red interior––similar to the 2020 Range Rover Autobiography top blogger Linda Ikeji shared today.

Celebrating his new ride, he stated: “If I end up being in one place without enjoying my new car, I will be upset.”

3. South Africa: Boity set to drop her debut EP ‘#4436’ this week

Boity will be launching her first EP. The “Own Your Throne” hitmaker took to her social media accounts to share the news of her upcoming “#4463” EP that she is extremely excited for fans to hear. On Instagram she posted the EP’s cover picture along with the caption: “IT’S FINALLY READY!!!! ???✨❤️ Fam, I’m so excited to announce that my debut project titled #4436 is dropping this Friday, the 4th of December! The timing could not be more perfect! ???? I’m so proud of this body of work and I’m very excited for you all to hear it!”

A-listers like media personality and businesswoman, Bonang Matheba, Thando Thabethe and Pearl Modiadie along with Boity’s fans flooded the rapper’s comments with congratulatory messages.

4. Ghana: State funeral for Rawlings scheduled for December 23

A state funeral for late former President Jerry John Rawlings will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. The ceremony will take place at the Independence Square in Accra. A statement signed and issued by the Head of Funeral Planning Committee, Ambassador James Victor Gbeho, said the family was working in conjunction with government on the “finer details” of the funeral ceremony and would communicate the arrangements in due course.

Former President Rawlings died on Thursday, November 12, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. He was 73 years.

5. Newcastle training ground remains closed on Tuesday after coronavirus outbreak

Newcastle United’s training ground remained closed for a second successive day on Tuesday in an attempt to deal with an outbreak of coronavirus. Manager Steve Bruce said on Friday that three players and one member of staff had tested positive and on Monday the training ground was shut. After a round of tests on Sunday, further cases were identified and players have since remained at home.

The Magpies are due to play Aston Villa in the Premier League on Friday. It is not clear if the team will return to their training base on Wednesday. The Premier League’s coronavirus protocols say the game would only be postponed if Newcastle had fewer than 15 players available for the game, but each case will be determined individually.
