The official class photo of Latifah, Barry Gibb, Renée Fleming, Billy Crystal, and Dionne Warwick was posted by the performing arts center on Sunday, just hours ahead of the star-studded black-tie gala. Each of the honorees was adorned with the prestigious rainbow ribbon medallion. The multifaceted entertainer is being recognized as one of the premier female voices in hip-hop whose talents know no bounds, excelling in television and film as well.

Congratulations are in order for Khutso Theledi after her Italian partner recently paid her lobola (traditional bride price). The media personality took to her timeline to share images from the ceremony and express gratitude to those who had sent her well wishes. “Thank you all for the overwhelming love, beautiful messages and heartfelt congratulations. Wamina and I are deeply touched by your kind words and warm wishes. Our hearts are truly filled with gratitude,” she wrote.

“We are so thankful for your blessings as we embark on this new chapter together. Your love has added an extra layer of joy to our special moments, and we cherish each and every heartfelt message. From the depths of our hearts, thank you for being a part of our journey and for celebrating this precious time with us. Your love means everything to us.” In April, the radio host announced that her partner had asked for her hand in marriage at the Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort in Mozambique.

4. Michael B. Jordan allegedly crashes his Ferrari into a parked car

Actor Michael B. Jordan was involved in a one-car collision in Hollywood early Sunday morning, December 3. The actor, 36, allegedly crashed his blue Ferrari into a parked Kia around midnight on Sunset Boulevard and North Beachwood Drive, though police have not yet confirmed if the “Creed” star was the driver of the car registered in his name or if he was even in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Jordan reportedly did not provide information to the police about the cause of the crash at the scene.

However, photos showed significant damage to the Ferrari, with the front passenger side panel completely torn off and the front windshield cracked. The Kia was also damaged, especially on its rear driver’s side, which has a missing gas tank door panel. The rear passenger door also appears to have a noticeable dent. The Los Angeles Police Department didn’t conduct a field sobriety test on the actor after determining that he wasn’t under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident. There were no injuries or damage outside of the two vehicles.

5. Marc-Andre ter Stegen facing back surgery which would rule goalkeeper out for two months

Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen is considering having surgery to fix his back issue that has prevented him from playing in the last three games. Due to the injury, the 31-year-old withdrew from the German team for last month’s international break and hasn’t played since November 12. Surgery is not a guarantee that the issue will be resolved; therefore, the player and the club are still weighing their alternatives, as per reports. Ter Stegen would probably have to wait two months after surgery to recover, so he would have to work quickly to be ready for the Champions League semi-final tie in February.

“He’s tested himself again, but he’s still in pain,” Barca Manager Xavi said of Ter Stegen ahead of Sunday’s victory over Atletico Madrid. “We’ll see next week. His back injury doesn’t let him play as he should. Marc is so involved with the group that he suffers when he can’t play and help out, but it is what it is right now.”
