Fall is about much more than just color-shifting leaves, Halloween, and pumpkin-spiced everything. It’s also the beginning of a new fashion mood—a time to revamp your closet, buy new seasonal staples, and start bundling up. A-list celebrities have already begun perfecting this wardrobe switch-up this month. Last week’s best dressed male celebrities entered fall with grace, all choosing sleek, understated outfits that are a departure from summer’s more bright, colorful wear.
The Looks
Besides it being fashion, it is also the month when the NFL season returns in full swing. A lot of celebrities have delivered bold fall fashion statements at these gaming events, and last week was no exception. For the game against the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, New York Giants player Sterling Shepard emerged in a colorful casual look that was appropriate for game day and also for this transitional period. His outfit was comprised of a multicolored Blue Marble Paris jacket, paired with a pair of blue Off White and a pair of white Nike Air Force 1s to complement the white t-shirt he layered on.
At Burberry’s London Fashion Week presentation, Nigerian singer Fireboy DML went the radical route in a denim Burberry by Ricardo Tisci set. He finished off the look with a pair of black Burberry boots and black biker sunglasses, giving the singer a head-to-toe Burberry finish.
Marquise Goodman, a Seattle Seahawks sportsman, gets an honorable mention for his choice of outerwear. His all-black ensemble, which consisted of a Maison Margiela cropped jacket, a NAMESAKE crocheted top, Sacai official pants, and a pair of white and black Celine platform penny loafers, was a welcome reminder that it’s officially time to bust out the jackets and knitwear.
