Lisa Folawiyo’s SS19 Collection Is An Interesting Clash Of Prints x Colours | #HLFW18
A fashion and culture enthusiast who's really a food loving…
The second day of the Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2018 kicked off after a 3-hour wait but fashion faithfuls remained faithful and designers like Lisa Folawiyo of Lisa Folawiyo Studio, formerly Jewel by Lisa, did not disappoint. The brand showcased an interesting printastic collection with a play on clashing colours and prints, which has since become the brand’s staple aesthetic.
Lisa Folawiyo presented a collection that featured resort style and summery outfits in mostly silk with lace trimmings and strategic cutout detailing. There was an abundance of slits, ruching, asymmetric hemlines, partial cold shoulders and more. From the designs to styling and accessories (top handle beaded bags and the footwear), the collection was definitely a well thought out one which any woman with a standout sense of style will appreciate.
Here’s a look at the collection…
