Kylian Mbappé Becomes Official Global Ambassador For Eyewear Brand, Oakley

After recently being announced as Dior’s new Global Ambassador, Kylian Mbappé has just signed a multi-year partnership with Oakley, as the Paris Saint-Germain football player “continues to extend his cross-cultural collaboration portfolio.”

The 23-year-old Frenchman has linked up with Oakley to create a new campaign titled “Be Who You Are”, which arrives with a short film chronicling Mbappé’s incredible journey and highlighting his defiant individual spirit.

The “Be Who You Are” film tells the story of a boy born in the suburbs of Paris with a dream to lead his country back to the grandest stage with a World Cup victory. The film brings Mbappé’s hard work and persistence into focus while celebrating the person he is away from the game.

“Everyone knows what I’m all about when it comes to football – now, I’m excited to partner with a brand that wants to share my story off the pitch, and support what I want to do to help inspire global youth,” said Kylian Mbappé.

“I relate to the Oakley attitude in many ways – the disruptive, innovative spirit and the drive to create positive change. The “Be Who You Are” message resonated very strongly with me and I want to help instill that belief in staying true to yourself and that self confidence in others.”

Off the field, Kylian Mbappé will support Oakley’s iconic lifestyle eyewear collection that includes the new Kato model, with Mbappé set to continue to support product releases for years to come.
