The music star shared the good news via his Instagram page on Saturday, May 1, 2021, which coincided with his birthday. “There is no better way to celebrate my birthday than announcing the arrival of my own Jelina and Jalil,” he wrote.

The 31-year-old megastar is also up for Top Male Artist, Top R&B Artist, and Top Hot 100 song for “Blinding Lights.” DaBaby comes in second with 11 nominations and Megan Thee Stallion with nine. The Billboard Music Awards takes place on Sunday, May 23.
3. South Africa: Prince Kaybee and DJ Maphorisa reignite Twitter war
Prince Kaybee took to Twitter to ask for the original pioneers of the genre to document everything about the amapiano culture. He also took the moment to throw some shade at “those who left their own genres to join the amapiano wagon,” and while he did not mention any names, many tweeps assumed it was DJ Maphorisa. DJ Maphorisa wastes no time as he hits back, saying, “2017 dropped my first amapiano song, n it was not with Kabza been at it. I invested my life with Amapiano almost 5 years dnt come with bullshit.”
4. ECOWAS proposes establishment of lab to produce vaccines
The Chairman of the ECOWAS Commission, Dr. Jean-Claude Kassi Brou, has proposed establishing a major laboratory in the sub-region that would enable member countries to produce vaccines to deal with emerging diseases/viruses.
He said there was also the need for West African leaders to take lessons from the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic by instituting pro-active measures that would prevent diseases from spreading by equipping and supporting their scientists.
Dr. Kassi Brou made the proposals in an interview with journalists in Accra last Thursday after visiting the new office of the ECOWAS Regional Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERERA) in Accra.
5. Manchester United and Chelsea ban fans for cyber bullying on social media
Manchester United has banned six fans for sending racist abuse to Tottenham forward Son Heung-min, while Chelsea has banned a fan for 10 years for posting anti-Semitic messages online. Son was sent “abhorrent” abuse after United’s 3-1 win on 11 April.
It comes as football and other sports prepare to stage a social media boycott this weekend in response to the rise of hate-filled social media posts aimed at players and officials. The campaign calls for the UK Government and social media companies to do more to tackle online hate.
